It is also within two miles of Chinatown, Little Tokyo, and the Civic Center. Oversized rooms are cheerful and immaculate with creature comforts such as 25-inch TVs, multiple phones, and data ports. Floor-by-floor renovations begun in 2002, will replace carpets and furnishings throughout, though all rooms look fresh and well-maintained. The renovated outdoor pool and small sundeck are surprisingly swank and private, while the restaurant and lounge befit chitchat. Complimentary shuttle service is offered within a five-mile radius, and the business center handles basic requests.
